Daylight savings is a little confusing. Who wants to go to bed while it's still light out? Here's Isaac having his second dinner in his PJs and showing off one of his new words--"seltzer."

Oh, no!

At Grandma and Pepa's for Laura's (might I add beautiful) wedding, Isaac fell in love with Athena their Lab. Since we've returned home, Isaac's been obsessed with dogs. Yesterday we thought we would get him a goldfish. How we were foolish enough to think a goldfish would be a consolation is another topic. Anyway, we get to Petsmart and are looking at the goldfish, and Isaac every so gently and PERSISTENTLY keeps turning his daddy's face away from the fish and toward the dogs. We ended up leaving the store in tears--no fish, no dog. And now we are considering the lunacy of adopting a dog. Somebody stop us before it's too late. ;)

We haven't seen so much snow since Feb 2003--right after we got married! We've enjoyed being home bound, but we did venture into the backyard to give our little kitten his first experience in the snow. We know he should have had mittens, but what can we say they were lost...
